Join Crescent Crew

Join the Crescent Crew to contribute to positive changes in the beach environment!  Crescent Crew volunteers gather for one-hour sessions most weeks spring through fall. Participate as often as your schedule allows, both day and evening sessions are available. 

Established as part of a grant-funded restoration project in 2017, Crescent Crew is a collaborative effort aimed at removing invasive plants, planting native plants, promoting the understanding of native plant habitats, and growing connections with like-minded volunteers.

Volunteers may also be invited to participate in beach and boardwalk clean-up projects as needed. Ability to bend, dig, and pull invasive plants a plus. Tools and supplies provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves.
